I also returned the Industrial Revolution essays, Europe map quiz, and Russian Revolution quiz. Students should attend next week's tutorial if they wish to improve their scores.

Animal Farm

Today students began reading Animal Farm, George Orwell's allegory about the Russian Revolution and beginnings of the Soviet Union. Students were assigned an individual from the story to keep notes on and predict the historical figure/organization/idea they represent.

Russian Revolution and Vocabulary

Students completed the video on the Russian revolution. After, they organized the major events of the revolution into chronological order. They also added the following vocabulary terms to their lists:
