Students began working on writing five paragraph essays about the Industrial Revolution. Today students wrote their thesis statements and introductions. The essay is due next Wed/Thurs.

Today students investigated the effects of the Industrial Revolution. They will use their notes as evidence for a persuasive essay. They will begin work on the essay to be completed next week.

Students continued taking notes on the Industrial Revolution. The logbooks and Checkpoint #3 were collected today.

We used this excellent website in class to explore the inventions and innovations of the Industrial Revolution.

Students began their study of the Industrial Revolution by participating in a simulation of the cottage industry and factory system. Students began taking notes on a lecture over the Industrial Revolution.
